Manresa, May 28, 2014.- MACSA ID, the family business from Manresa dedicated to traceability, laser coding and laser, was selected in the Gala EBA Awards held yesterday in Athens as one of the top five companies in the Innovation category among over 17,000 European companies.
MACSA ID filed its candidacy in the Innovation category at the European Business Awards in July 2013 and was elected as National Champion, recognizing its growth strategy through business innovation.
In a second phase, MACSA ID prepared a video presentation of its application through which it was again selected along with 9 other companies across Europe in the category. This time MACSA ID received a Ruban d' Honneur special mention at the European Business Awards given to those companies that stand out for their dynamism and business acumen, in addition to their commitment to success, innovation and ethics.
In the third and final phase, MACSA ID presented its candidacy in London before a jury of European political and business leaders, academics and entrepreneurs who chose it as one of the best European innovative companies.
The European Business Awards, sponsored by RSM, Infosys, Millicom, BP Target Neutral and collaboration with UKTI are independent awards that recognize and promote excellence, best practice and innovation. The selection also includes success stories that are a source of knowledge to other companies.
